EBU alliance members rank Top 14 in QS World University Ranking 2021

European Bioeconomy University (EBU): The world’s top universities research, educate and innovate the sustainable resource base from agriculture and forestry for the future bioeconomy.

The QS World University Ranking 2021 revealed that the alliance members of the European Bioeconomy University are among the worlds’ top universities in the subjects of ‘Agriculture and Forestry’. Out of the six EBU alliance members, five ranked within the top 14 universities in the subject of ‘agriculture and forestry’ in Europe.

Biobased resources from these sectors (Agriculture and Forestry) provide the foundation for the development of a biobased economy on European level. The EBU unites the expertise of the alliance members to accelerate Europe’s transition to the knowledge-based bioeconomy through education, research and innovation transfer.

The QS World University Ranking assesses the performance of universities covering 51 subject areas. The ranking consists of four components – Academic reputation, Employer reputation, Research citations per paper and H-index.
