During the EBU Presidents Meeting on the 12th of May, the six partners reflected on its progresses over the last months and decided upon future planned actions. The EBU has published a position paper which concisely sets out its perspective and ambitions to foster the rapid transition towards a sustainable and circular bioeconomy through innovative approaches of education, research and technology transfer. Additionally, the EBU has prepared an opinion paper on the importance of linking the EU Bioeconomy Strategy with the EU Green Deal. The EBU combines outstanding competences and knowledge in bioeconomy-related research and innovation activities, and is offering scientific advice in formulating the Green Deal’s future activities.
