Launch of the FOEBE training programme

The FOEBE project aims at equipping bioeconomy students with sustainable entrepreneurship skills to speed up the European expansion of the bioeconomy sector. To achieve this objective, the 6 EBU founding members and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS) as EBU affiliated partner joined forces to deliver a blended learning training programme to tackle this skills mismatch.

The hybrid training programme of the FOEBE project was launched on January 31st, 2022. 34 students were selected by the FOEBE pedagogical team to form the first cohort.  The course includes 16 weeks of e-learning activities, navigating through the 8 modules about sustainable entrepreneurship in the field of bioeconomy, thanks to the e-Campus platform.

The FOEBE training programme will finish with an in-person study week at the University of Bologna in June 2022. It will be a great opportunity for the students to benefit from visits and practical activities as well as to network and meet their peers. They will share part of the experience with EBU Label students.
